Environmental Education in Russian Universities: Practice and Prospects

Abstract

The paper analyses the state of higher environmental education in Russia using open information sources, communications with educators of leading universities, and data on the best practices of Russian universities (organization of the educational process, educational and methodological support, employment of graduates, etc.). The priority areas for improving higher environmental education in Russia are identified.
